Sitser Patio....

Got an upgrade! We have a deck!! Many thanks to Matt and my dad for working so hard! They started Friday morning and Matt finished it up Sunday night. There are a few tiny details to finish and we are going to stain it but for the most part it is done! Woo-hoo!!! It is officially crossed of the list!

Here is a picture of the patio when we first moved in April 17th 2009. This is the one thing that Matt has wanted to do to the house since we moved in 4 years ago next month, which will also be our 3 year wedding Anniversary! :-) I'm proud of this house and all the work we have put into it to make it ours!

Sneak Peak...

into the front room. I haven't posted in a while on house updates. Right now, we are working on finishing the front room. We now have a new couch, chair, and we ordered the love seat to go with the set on Saturday. By the way, if your looking for furniture Macy's has great deals and always have sales going on. However, I am going to have to repaint the room, the light green isn't matching the furniture and so I'm going to go with a light grey. Also, while we were in Santa Fe we bought three pictures for that room. I was so excited to get some pictures up! It's coming together and I'll post more pictures of the finished product.

In a couple of weeks Matt with the help of both our dads are going to start building the deck off the back patio. We are so looking forward to the deck, especially with Spring on its way we will practically live on the patio during the weekends.

Also, I posted this morning on the Eat Better. Live Better. Paleo.  Take a look, Banana Waffles. Yummmmy!

Long time no...

blog. Happy New Year  to everyone! I know, its already the end of January...I'm so behind! I feel like its taken me until now to get back in the swing of things recouping from the holidays. Matt and I did have a great Christmas and holiday spent with family. We had Christmas in Katy with my family and Christmas in Magnolia with Matts family. Then a couple days later we drove up to Santa Fe with Matt's mom and dad, Nick and Diane to ring in the New Year.  We love Santa Fe, wondering round the Plaza, Canyon Road, wonderful food, and we managed to squeeze in a half day of skiing on New Years Eve. It's a very relaxing place to visit. Next time I'm going to try and hit up a spa instead of skiing I think. ;-)

Here are some of our pictures from Christmas and New Year.
