Finally Friday!!!

Friday's finally here!! Is it me or did this week drag by?!!
Last night I had to work late at the Garland Senior Center for their Veterans Day Tribute. I had a booth set up with cookies, candy, drinks, pill boxes (which were a HUGE hit) and pens to give away as well as information about my company Girling Home Health. It was a great turn out and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, even if we had to move it inside due to the rain. They had a live band and let me tell you just b/c your 80 doesn't mean you can't dance and do the twist with the best of them!!  ;) Here are a few pics of our booth.

 I got home around 8:30 and Matt was at home unloading the dishwasher....like a good husband! ;) He asked me immediately if I noticed anything different with the house and I said I didn't. If you don't know our house was built in 1952 and we are in the process of remodeling/updating it.  Anyway,  he told me to go outside and look around on the front and back porch.  I did and of course I didn't see anything different b/c I honestly don't pay too much attention to details apparently.  So Matt had to tell me.  He had put up new outside lights for the front and back porch and had them up before I got home as a surprise! We are very much looking forward to this weekend at home. Saturday we are having some friends over for a cocktails, food, and fun! It will be great to see and catch up with everyone....its been long overdue! Have a great weekend everybody! Cheers! :)
