Homestretch

We are in the homestretch of the pregnancy and lil Miss Alexandra (Allie) will be here before we know it. I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow and this pregnancy has flown by. We had our last sonogram on Monday and Allie is doing great weighing in at 2lbs 11oz right now. It was amazing to see how much she has grown since our 18 week sonogram. Her little facial features were more prominent with a cute button nose and I think she has her daddy's lips. We can't wait to see her and love on that precious little face.
We have been trying to get the house ready for Allie, cleaning out closets, and finishing up projects around the house. Matt remodeled our laundry room and we finally bought and put up the vent hood in the kitchen!

Ta-da!

So now we have Allies room to tackle. The changing table, crib, and rocker came in this week. Matts mom and dad are coming up to help us put those together and to add more room in our bedroom closet (so I can fit my clothes in there). Someone (cough cough) takes up the whole closet. ;-) Majority of my clothes have been in the guest room soon to be Allies room so we gotta find space or should I say make space. I'll keep you updated and show you how her nursery is coming along! I'm so excited to get started on it!
Stay tuned!!!

Oh baby!

Oh baby! We are eagerly awaiting our a baby girl, Alexandra Jane Sitser to join us in June! Matt and I couldn't be more excited about this new chapter of our lives. We are very grateful and thankful for this precious gift.
I'm at the halfway point already...time has flown by.  I've been lucky and have had a really great pregnancy so far. No morning sickness just had a little nausea but that let up around 11 weeks and then I started feeling "normal" again. I pray everything continues to go smoothly. We had our 20 week sonogram last Monday and thats where we found out the sex and that Allie checked out to be in good health and was growing like she should be. We couldn't ask for anything more. Now, we can't wait for her to get here!!
I am enjoying the pregnancy and feeling her kicks. I started feeling what felt like muscle spasms around week 15 and now her kicks/jabs are feeling a lot stronger and are more frequent. It feels like someones thumping me from the inside but I guess really thats kind of what she's doing! lol
I have continued to workout. I am no longer running but I go for walks and I still do CrossFit about 2-3 times a week but the workouts are way scaled down for me. My coach, Ryan has been great at modifying my movements and checking on me though out the workouts. I hope to be able to continue for as long as I'm able. To me its important to try and keep my muscles strong and body healthy in hopes to help me carry the extra weight of the baby later on in pregnancy as well as help me in the labor process. The key is though...listen to your body when your working out and know when to stop and know things you can and can't do.
As you know I haven't posted in a while. So I wanted to catch you up and share the good news to anyone that hadn't heard yet. I'll do better to keep you updated on all the things happening in the Sitser household. Things are about to get busy! ;-)

Have a great week!
